Course Introduction:

The AgilePM Foundation & Practitioner course provides a comprehensive approach to Agile project management, equipping you with the theory, practical application, and leadership skills to excel in a fast-paced, VUCA environment. Version 3 is the latest update to this globally recognised certification and was launched in November 2024.

The course will help you to:

  • Understand Agile principles, the Agile Manifesto and Business Agility 
  • Recognise how agility supports projects in a VUCA environment 
  • Gain knowledge of Scrum, including roles, values, and artefacts Learn the Agile project lifecycle, roles, and leadership principles 
  • Develop collaboration, communication, and risk management skills Understand Agile governance as well as regulatory and financial compliance 
  • Recall key AgilePM concepts, principles and procedures 
  • Apply learnt knowledge in real-world project scenarios 
  • Differentiate between correct and incorrect application of AgilePM concepts

At the end of the 3-rd day of course delegates can take the official AgilePM® Foundation exam. If in a later stage delegates want to take the official AgilePM® Practitioner exam they will have to have passed for the AgilePM® Foundation exam. At the end of the last day of course delegates can take the official AgilePM® Practitioner exam. The course consists of a mix of theory and practical exercises. Most of the exercises will be done in small groups.

Preparation in advance:

It is recommended that students should complete at least 21 hours of personal study by reviewing the syllabus and the AgilePM® Hanbook manual in advance of attending training for the certification.

Course activities:

  • 2-3 hours of evening work is required in order to take the exam
  • Classroom lecturing.
  • Individual and group assignments.
  • Exam preparation session
